McKesson Corporation (NYSE: MCK) on Wednesday reported an increase in revenue and earnings for the first quarter of fiscal 2027. The results also came in above analysts’ estimates.
On an adjusted basis, first-quarter earnings increased to $9.93 per share from $8.26 per share in the comparable period of fiscal 2026, exceeding Wall Street’s forecasts. Unadjusted net income was $614 million or $5.17 per share in Q1, compared to $784 million or $6.28 per share in the year-ago quarter.
First-quarter revenues rose to $105.4 billion from $97.83 billion in Q1 FY26, beating analysts’ estimates. Management raised its full-year FY27 adjusted earnings per share guidance range to $44.20 to $45.00, from the previous range of $43.80 to $44.60.
“Our first quarter performance exceeded our expectations, highlighted by 20% growth in Adjusted Earnings per Diluted Share. It demonstrates the strength of our core distribution businesses, continued growth in oncology and multispecialty, and solid execution across our biopharma services platform,” said Brian Tyler, CEO of McKesson.
