(Reuters) – Albertsons Corporations Inc stated late on Friday that Washington State Court docket has denied a request of preliminary injunction by the state’s Legal professional Common to stop the corporate from paying a dividend to its shareholders.
The attorneys common of California, Illinois and Washington D.C. requested a federal court docket final week for a preliminary injunction that may forestall Albertsons, which is being bought by rival Kroger (NYSE:) Co, from paying a $4 billion dividend to shareholders.
