Why Did Ripple Join the Giving 4th Campaign?

Ripple announced on July 4 its participation in Giving 4th, a new charitable movement launched by America250 to encourage Americans to make Independence Day a national day of giving. The campaign is tied to the country’s 250th anniversary, giving the effort a civic backdrop beyond a standard fundraiser.

July 4, 2026, marks Independence Day and the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the United States Declaration of Independence in 1776, when the 13 colonies formally separated from Great Britain. The milestone is observed as a point of historical reflection on the country’s origins, governing principles and modern civic responsibility.

As part of the initiative, Ripple committed to matching donations made through the Call of Duty Endowment in support of CODE4Vets, up to $10,000. According to the campaign, CODE4Vets, a funding initiative backed by the Call of Duty Endowment, funds the most effective organizations helping veterans return to work, preparing them for the job market and raising awareness of the value they bring to employers.

“Give cash, stock, or crypto ( XRP & RLUSD accepted),” Ripple shared on X, adding:

“Ripple will match your donation in XRP, up to a maximum match of $10,000.”

Donations can be made using cash, stock or cryptocurrency, including XRP and RLUSD. The fundraising page is hosted by the Call of Duty Endowment, a nonprofit that helps unemployed veterans secure high-quality jobs after military service.

How Does the Fundraiser Support Veteran Employment?

The Call of Duty Endowment says it has funded the placement of more than 165,000 veterans into civilian jobs. The organization says it aims to reach 200,000 job placements by 2030, while noting that unemployment among younger veterans remains an ongoing challenge.

As of this writing, the fundraiser had raised $201.19 toward its $10,000 goal. Ripple’s matching pledge is intended to increase the impact of eligible donations until the company’s contribution reaches its stated cap.

The campaign remains open through the fundraising page. While Ripple has committed to matching eligible donations up to $10,000, the final amount contributed will depend on donor participation. Progress toward both the fundraising target and the Call of Duty Endowment’s broader goal of placing 200,000 veterans in jobs by 2030 will depend on continued support.
