Jones, who adopt kittens from a local pound after being unable to have children. Their lack of foresight in not spaying or neutering the cats leads to a household overrun with more than 100 cats, resulting in chaos, sex, violence, and regret.

Despite the uncontrollable circumstances, the Joneses form an attachment to their many pets, each with a unique, horrific name.
