For example, the Amazon Kindle Colorsoft 16 GB model is down to $169.99 (regularly $249.99). Back in October, Amazon discounted select Kindle bundles by around 30%, making this early deal competitive.
🛒 3 p.m. PST: Check price histories before you ‘add to cart’
Early deals have begun! But before you check out too quickly, add one extra step to your shopping routine. The Nerds always use price tracking browser extensions to gauge the value of a deal. Amazon’s Big Spring Sale 2026 is like a toned-down version of summer’s Prime Day in July. The discounts aren’t expected to be as deep, but the spring sale lasts longer and focuses on seasonally relevant product categories.
Amazon describes it this way: “From end-of-season savings from Amazon Outlet and great deals on last-minute winter purchases to springtime must-haves and Easter finds for every budget, there’s something for everyone.”
The sale is open to everyone, but it’s even better for Amazon Prime members. If you belong to Prime, keep an eye out for the “Prime Spring Deal” badge. That signals you’re getting exclusive savings that non-Prime shoppers can’t access.
Here are other key elements of the event:
Daily deal drops: The sale won’t look the same each day. Amazon is dropping new deals during each of the seven days.
Doorbuster deals: Some of the best deals are called “doorbusters.” These include 40% off fashion, beauty and electronics.
AI support: Shoppers can lean on Rufus (Amazon’s AI assistant) to ask for price alerts and price histories.
