New bookkeeping services give companies better visibility, cost-efficiency, and alignment with growth strategies

Manchester, NH – April 22, 2025 – York IE, a global venture capital and advisory firm serving technology companies from pre-revenue to scale, today announced the expansion of its General and Administrative (G&A) services to include enhanced accounting and bookkeeping services. This strategic move follows the recent hiring of Jocelyn Murphy, CPA, as Director of Finance Advisory.

“Finance isn’t just a back-office function, it’s a strategic lever for growth. To scale successfully, finance must touch every part of the business. With our expanded service offering, we’re giving our clients the structure, visibility, and agility they need to make bold, data-driven decisions.”

– Mike Veilleux, Managing Director, Advisory at York IE.

With these enhanced capabilities, York IE now offers startups and scaling companies a unified finance solution that combines tactical accounting with strategic financial planning to increase operational efficiency, deepen insights, and drive long-term value.

“This expansion is a natural evolution of how we support our clients with both strategy and execution. We’re now delivering a more connected and impactful finance experience that helps companies scale efficiently and with confidence.”

– Janelle Gorman, CFO at York IE.

York IE has supported clients with strategic financial reporting, analysis, and planning. With this launch, its expanded G&A services now include:

Full scope bookkeeping
Accounts payable and vendor management
Accounts receivable and billing
Cash management
Month-end close
Payroll processing

These services are designed to reduce overhead and increase financial clarity. Outsourced bookkeeping, AP, and billing help companies keep costs low, while oversight by York IE’s experienced finance professionals ensures accuracy and timely reporting. By having one provider for both accounting and financial planning & analysis, companies benefit from seamless integration and more efficient forecast-to-actuals analysis to drive strategic alignment and decision-making.

“As a founder and operator, I understand how difficult it is for growing companies to manage both day-to-day financials and big-picture planning. At York IE, we’re closing that gap to give companies a single, experienced partner to guide them through tactical execution and strategic decision-making.”

– Jocelyn Murphy, Director of Finance Advisory, York IE.

Unlike traditional firms, York IE combines finance execution with strategic advisory, and supports all work through a proprietary onshore + offshore model that ensures scalability, quality, and cost efficiency.

“York IE stepped in and helped to establish our accounting processes, integrated seamlessly with our finance tech stack, and gave us the clarity we’d never had before. We now close our books in half the time and have real-time visibility into our financial health.”

– Steve Travaglini, founder and CEO, Winrate.
