Booking Miraval All-Inclusive Resorts on Points

Being in Miraval mode makes me happy. A few days at one of the three all-inclusive resorts is like a mind-body reset for me.

As much as I love the place, I do not love how much it costs — often more than $1,000 per night. However, Miraval offers award stays bookable with World of Hyatt points, and the redemption rates are excellent. It’s actually one of the best ways to redeem Hyatt points. Here’s what you need to know to stay at a Miraval with Hyatt points.

Miraval mode

First, some basics about Miraval. There are three resorts: Tucson, Arizona; Austin, Texas; and in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. I have been to all three, and they are great.

Each resort is for adults 18+ and has a variety of wellness, adventure, culinary, spiritual and spa activities. The rate includes the room, food (all meals, snacks and nonalcoholic beverages), many free activities and a $175 resort credit to use for fee-based activities and spa services.

There is no tipping, and Miraval is mostly digital device free, allowing guests to be fully present and not worried about having cash to tip someone or being tethered to a phone.

I’ve been to Miraval enough to be a lifetime member of the Authentic Circle loyalty program, a separate program from World of Hyatt, which gives me access to additional resort credits and exclusive fourth- or fifth-night-free packages.

I have also earned enough Hyatt points from past stays to pay for an entire stay at a Miraval property.

How much will a night at Miraval cost?

Miraval may be life-changing, but it isn’t cheap. When I book, I expect it to be around $1,200 per night and am pleasantly surprised if it is less. Thanks to sales and special offers, it often is.

Rates do vary based on the season. For example, a stay at Miraval Arizona is usually significantly less expensive during the hot summer months than it is other times of year. The reverse is true for Miraval Berkshires, which is cheaper during the winter than in the summer, spring or fall. Miraval Austin is a bit more consistent in pricing throughout the year.

For a stay Nov. 6 to 9, 2025, a hotel-style room for one person before a 25% resort fee and taxes at all three properties:

In Arizona: Starts at $1,695 a night.

In Austin: Starts at $1,053 a night.

In the Berkshires: Starts at $1,076 a night.

Looking at those prices, you can see why using Hyatt points can be great.

According to the World of Hyatt award chart, a night at Miraval can be as low as 40,000 points per night for a single-occupancy standard room or 57,500 points for a double-occupancy standard room if you visit during off-peak times. During peak times, it can be as high as 50,000 points for a single-occupancy standard room or 72,000 points for a double-occupancy room.

You can also use points to book suites, starting at 65,000 points per night.

One of the other benefits of using World of Hyatt points to book is that you will not have to pay the 25% resort fee. World of Hyatt waives that fee for award bookings.

So for the Miraval Arizona Resort and Spa stay from Nov. 6 to 9, it would cost 45,000 points per night. That would give you a redemption rate of 3.8 cents per point. That’s well over NerdWallet’s valuation of Hyatt points at 2.2 cents each, making this a great way to maximize your Hyatt points.

You can book your award stay through either the Miraval site or Hyatt site.

Input your travel dates and toggle the “Use Points” option to see what room types are available to book on points. You can also use Hyatt’s “Points Calendar” to find availability if your dates are flexible.

When booking on points, you get the same benefits you would if you paid with cash or a credit card, including the $175 nightly resort credit per person per room.

However, you can use World of Hyatt points to pay for Miraval stays only. You cannot use them to pay for Dining, Spa & More awards at Miravala properties.

If you have to cancel an award stay at Miraval, you must do it at least 21 days before the stay to get the points back. If you cancel after that, you will get your points back, but you will have to pay for a one night’s stay at the property’s current rate.

Booking Miraval using Chase Ultimate Rewards® points

Just remember: Although most Chase transfers to World of Hyatt are instant, it could take up to seven business days for them to show up in your account.

Enjoying Miraval

The bottom line: Being at Miraval is great. You can almost forget how much it costs while you’re sleeping in an amazing bed, eating wonderful food and participating in unique experiences.

It’s even better when you’re staying at a Miraval resort for free because you redeemed points from World of Hyatt or transferred them to Hyatt from Chase.

You will get the same benefits on-site using points as you would if you paid cash.
