South Korean Young Hoon Kim, who claims a world-record IQ of 276, has converted all his assets to Bitcoin and predicts the crypto could surge 100x over the next decade.
“As the world’s highest IQ record holder and Grand Master of Memory, I believe that Bitcoin is the only hope for the future economy,” Kim wrote on X. ”Therefore, I have converted all my assets into Bitcoin.”
He also predicts that American Bitcoin, the mining firm backed by Eric and Donald Trump Jr, will become the largest company globally, and called it “the smartest company in the world.”
Kim Says Bitcoin The Ultimate Reserve Asset
There are numerous bold predictions for Bitcoin’s future price, with most analysts expecting its rise to be powered by institutional adoption, the devaluation of fiat currencies like the dollar, and by investors buying it as a hedge against inflation.
But few analysts see it soaring 100x, which would take the value of one Bitcoin to $11.293 million at current prices.
“Future Economy: According to my theoretical analysis, within the next 10 years, Bitcoin will increase at least 100 times and be universally adopted as the ultimate reserve asset,” Kim wrote in another post on X.

Following a more than 1% gain in the last 24 hours, the Bitcoin price stands at $112,931 as of 7:11 a.m. EST, data from CoinMarketCap shows.

Despite the recent rise, the crypto’s price is still down over 8% from its all-time high (ATH) of $124,457.12 that it reached on Aug. 14.
Are Kim’s Claims Legit?
Kim says he holds the world record IQ of 276, which is over 100 points higher than the 160-point IQ that many believe Albert Einstein would have had. He also claims to be a Grand Master of Memory.
But despite reported recognition by Mensa, Yale Clinical Neuroscientist, the Official World Record and the World Memory Championships, independent verification of his credentials has proven hard to find, Vice.com reported.
Some experts say his claimed IQ is impossibly high.
American Bitcoin Will Become A Leading Company, Kim Predicts
Still, Kim also said that American Bitcoin will “become the #1 company in the world by market capitalization.”
That’s after he met with American Bitcoin’s president Matt Prusak.
“American Bitcoin will be the smartest company in the world and it will play a key role to MAGA,” Kim said last week.
The company was founded in March this year by the US President’s sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. It also has a partnership with Hut 8 mining, which provides mining infrastructure to American Bitcoin.
As part of the deal, the Trumps are minority shareholders in American Bitcoin. Gemini co-founders Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss have reportedly also backed the company.
Apart from Bitcoin mining, the company is actively growing its own BTC treasury as well.
Data from Bitcoin Treasuries shows that American Bitcoin currently holds 2,443 BTC on its balance sheets. This ranks it as the 30th-biggest BTC treasury company globally.

American Bitcoin recently completed a merger with the Nasdaq-listed firm Gryphon Digital Mining. This was done instead of an initial public offering to fast-track American Bitcoin’s access to public market funding.
The merger closed at the start of this month, and the new combined entity started trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker “ABTC” on Sept. 3.
Since trading on the Nasdaq started for ABTC, the company’s share price has fallen over 14%. Most of this loss happened in the past week, with the stock price plummeting over 8% during this period, data from Yahoo Finance shows.
ABTC is up more than 2% during pre-market trading today.
