Aalborg, Denmark-based Trackunit, an IoT service provider, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Berlin-based ConTech startup Flexcavo.
Trackunit aims to extend its reach in the contractor market with this acquisition. It will also allow the Danish company to manage the rental/contractor relationship better in the future.

Founded in 2020 by Benedict Aicher and Leonhard Fricke, Flexcavo is working to digitalise the construction industry.Â
The platform specialises in data-enabled workflow and process management, enabling contractors and rental companies to increase their efficiency, lower costs and improve the teamâs collaboration across construction sites, yards, and headquarters.

The company employs around 30 people.
