Recognising AI as a catalyst for business transformation, Singtel aligned technology with enterprise priorities by modernising its digital core, building a unified data and AI foundation, and embedding AI across engineering, operations, and customer experiences. Xcelerate reduced the application landscape by 44%, lowered technology obsolescence to below 10%, and created reinvestment capacity by redirecting traditional IT spend into AI, digital platforms, and next-generation technologies. The transformation also strengthened system resilience, maintained service availability above 99%, and accelerated product launches from weeks to days. Customer experience improved through best-in-class NPS, simpler digital journeys and AI-enabled customer engagement. Singtel’s transformation shows how a technology organization can build trusted, adaptive, and strategically aligned capabilities that enable growth, resilience, and competitive differentiation in an AI-driven market.
Enterprise Architecture: CLP Power Hong Kong
CLP Power Hong Kong won the 2026 Enterprise Architecture Award for transforming enterprise architecture from a traditional governance function into an outcome-driven capability that orchestrates business transformation at scale. As CLP simultaneously advanced major Customer Experience, Smart Grid, and ERP programs while maintaining 99.999% electricity reliability for approximately 2.9 million customer accounts, its architecture team played a pivotal role in aligning strategy, investment priorities, technology decisions, and digital delivery across the enterprise. Through shared platforms, reusable architecture patterns, and architects embedded within transformation programs, CLP delivered measurable business outcomes, including a 20% increase in digital adoption across mobile app and web channels, reaching approximately 1.5 million customer accounts; a 90% reduction in data latency, enabling near real-time decision-making; increased operational efficiency by 30% in ERP processes; and improved technology investment efficiency by 15% across major transformation initiatives. CLP’s approach demonstrates how enterprise architecture can evolve from a governance function into a strategic driver of enterprise-wide transformation and business value.
Enterprise Architecture: Nan Shan Life Insurance Co., Ltd.
Nan Shan Life Insurance Co., Ltd., wins the 2026 Enterprise Architecture Award for transforming enterprise architecture into a scalable engine for digital innovation and AI adoption. This is the company’s second consecutive year receiving this honor, and this year, it has achieved the top prize. Rather than treating architecture as a governance discipline, Nan Shan embedded EA at the core of its digital transformation strategy, using reusable Architecture Building Blocks (ABBs) and Solution Building Blocks (SBBs) to accelerate the development of new products and services. This approach enabled the company to increase AI product delivery from one to four solutions per season, reduce misinvestment costs from 36% to below 10%, and rapidly scale innovative solutions such as fraud detection, compliance automation, and AI-powered customer services. The judges were particularly impressed by Nan Shan’s ability to combine business architecture, reusable technology assets, and outcome-focused governance to create measurable improvements in revenue growth, operational efficiency, customer experience, and risk management.
Data & AI Impact: DBS Bank
DBS Bank, wins the 2026 Data & AI Impact Award for institutionalizing AI as an operating model rather than pursuing disconnected use cases. Its enterprise approach combines the Advancing DBS with AI (ADA) platform and GenAI Flock gateway with reusable analytics assets, responsible AI governance, cross-functional delivery, and rigorous value measurement. The bank also converts productivity gains into growth by redesigning processes, reskilling employees, and redeploying capacity into higher-value work. More than 70% of employees actively use DBS-GPT, generating over 1 million prompts each month, while employees have created more than 10,000 agents that can be shared through a curated library. GenAI Flock now powers more than 430 AI use cases enterprise-wide w. Together, these capabilities helped DBS increase the estimated annual economic impact of its AI initiatives to approximately S$1 billion in 2025.
Data & AI Impact: Grab
Grab wins the 2026 Data & AI Impact Award for developing an internal-facing, self-service platform to help business and corporate employees build and run their own AI-driven automations. Grab’s central AI team, Grab Technology Solutions (GTS), developed Valet, a governed agentic workspace that empowers business functions to build and own agents and automation workflows. It empowers business teams to own process logic and outcomes, while GTS enables them to deliver better outcomes through governing platform, security, and production controls. Process redesign precedes automation, with human approval required for write actions and high-risk operations. The ongoing human-in-loop model builds trust and ensures effective oversight of the agents. Early results demonstrate measurable improvements in workflow speed and functional capacity.
