CES Unveiled Europe in Amsterdam will preview CES 2026, where Dutch startups, including nine from Amsterdam, will present their innovations.

CES Unveiled returns under the name CES Unveiled Europe, focusing on European technology and collaboration. The event, held at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam, previews CES 2026 in Las Vegas through sessions, showcases, and networking with industry leaders.

Over 40 Dutch startups and scale-ups will represent the Netherlands at CES 2026, taking place in Las Vegas (USA) from 6 to 9 January 2026.

In the next few months, Dutch startups will take part in a training programme run by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). The programme is designed to help them present their work clearly to potential customers, investors, and partners.

Minister Karremans, Minister for Economic Affairs, says, “Startups and scale-ups drive growth, renewal and solutions to the major challenges of today and tomorrow, such as the energy transition and an ageing population. They are therefore indispensable to our prosperity. That’s why I want the Netherlands to have the best startup and scale-up climate in Europe.”

“To achieve this, our companies must also be able to shine internationally, such as at CES in Las Vegas. Because when they succeed, everyone benefits. A strong economy allows us to continue funding our healthcare, education and security.”

Strengthening the Dutch tech ecosystem

The government has launched the “Building the Tech Champions of Tomorrow” plan to boost the startup and scale-up environment.

The initiative includes expanding access to risk-bearing capital, introducing a new employee participation tax scheme effective from 1 January 2027, and extending the Techleap programme until 2029. Access to global markets remains a central goal of this strategy.

For instance, Dutch participants at CES 2026 include Cyberette, which develops deepfake detection and fraud prevention tools; Leyden Jar, which advances battery technology for longer device use and lower emissions; and Ambyon, which creates logistics robots for hospital operations, among others.

This will be the ninth year of Dutch participation at CES. Previous editions have led to international agreements, including a distribution deal between SmartQare and Philips, and a collaboration between Advanced Audio Labs and Japanese chipmaker Renesas.
