Copenhagen-based Driversnote, a company specialised in mobile mileage tracking and reporting, announced that it has entered a strategic partnership with VIA equity.

Headquartered in Copenhagen, VIA equity is a Northern European private equity firm investing in software and IT-service companies.
VIA focuses on profitable small to mid-sized companies in the Nordics and DACH regions.
VIA equity manages several funds, where the most recent, VIA equity V, has €250M in committed capital from acknowledged international investors.

Driversnote’s first investment
As a part of the agreement, VIA Equity has acquired a minority stake in the company to support its next stage of growth.
The announcement was made by Martin Poulsen, founder & CEO at Driversnote, through a LinkedIn post.
The partnership with VIA Equity marks the first external investment in Driversnote’s history.
“Now, for the first time, we’ve invited a new co-owner into Driversnote. VIA EQUITY have acquired a share of the company to help us reach the next stage. They’re investing not to change who we are, but because they believe in how we’ve built Driversnote,” says Poulsen.

Founded in 2014, Driversnote specialises in mobile mileage tracking, reporting and reimbursement for business-related trips.
Available on iOS, Android and web and supported by an optional hardware tracking device, the app combines precise trip detection, local tax compliance, and strong user privacy in an intuitive interface, delivering a seamless experience across industries and geographies.
Currently, the company’s solution is being used by over 3 million users in over 80 countries.
