CVS Health (NYSE:CVS) said its Aetna insurance division will now cover intrauterine insemination, or IUI, as a medical benefit for all eligible plans, regardless of sexual orientation or partner status. The company said Aetna members can access the benefit as a test of fertility and, in certain cases, to increase their chances of getting pregnant. The updated coverage will begin to take effect on Sept. 1 and will be effective on a rolling basis for most plans upon renewal, the company said.
